Simon and all
When in properties you change your name, the entries already
there do
not pick up this new name. Unpublishing and publishing does
not help
either.

Try the following:
* install the same pebble version on another machine
* start it up
* in the $user.home/pebble/realm directory you will
find a file
called username.properties
* copy that file to the realm of the blog that you
lost the
password for.
* restart that blog
* theoretically the password of the user username
should now be
password again.
I have not tried this, but maybe Simon can confirm whether
this should
work or not
