I run Pebble 2.3.1 on MacOSX 10.4.11. It is deployed inside
Tomcat
5.5.12. Everything has run smoothly for ages (through
upgrade after
upgrade of Pebble).

Recently, I decided to upgrade to Tomcat 6.0.16. I tried
this first
on my development machine so as not to lose any time on my
production
machine.

Everything went smoothly at first. I deployed pebble just
fine. It
started just fine. I then pointed it at my preferred user
directory.
Again, all was well. Then I switched on MultiBlog. Suddenly,
Tomcat
would not allow me to restart Pebble.

I tried downgrading to Pebble 2.2. I had the same problem. I
have
both tried changing the multiblog property in
Pebble.Properties
(failed) and then in applicationContext-pebble.xml (changing
from the
string value to an explicit value of true). None of those
efforts
bore any fruit.

Any suggestions? Is this likely to be a problem with the way
I
installed Tomcat 6 (which seemed brain dead simple as I
remembered it
being with 5.5)?

Thanks,

Rob

Hello, I'm not sure how the file system works (I've heard
somewhat Unix or Linux like) on a Mac but I am just
wondering does your Mac/Tomcat installation have the usual
log directory or folder? Typically, something like:
./Tomcat6.0.x/logs. If so, does the logs directory contain
log files anything like: stdout_nnnnnn.log (where the n-s
are some number series)? If so, reply with the contents of
the newest file. HTH.
