Hello,

The topic has been raised before in this thread:

forge.net/mailarchive/message.php?msg_id=182776.50336.qm%40w
eb57609.mail.re1.yahoo.com
but wasn't answered there.

I need to setup a series of Pebble blogs for a site. If
possible I'ld like to
use OpenID for authentication. This Pebble instance i'm
going to setup, will
run within Tomcat 5.5 and behind an Apache HTTP server via
mod_proxy. If
necessary, I can run Pebble within another servlet engine.

Is it possible to use OpenID authentication for Pebble,
either within Pebble,
or somewhere in the servlet engine (Tomcat) or Apache?

Thanks,

Fred Vos

Pebble uses Acegi Security that has just been re-named
Spring Security.
Spring Security 2 has just been released. It adds OpenID
support.

Upgrading Pebble to use Spring Security 2 is hopefully an
easy path to support OpenID.
