G'day All,

As the subject says, the RBAR was in town & I met up
with some local
snappers & headed down to check it out:

Here is a rough first pass selection of my shots from the
day (17 images):

Never having shot motor sport of any description, I was
pleased with what I
got.

I used 3 lenses during the day, DA 10-17mm FE, DA* 16-50
f2.8mm & FA*
300mm f4.5 (with and without the F 1.7x AF Adapter), all
hand held.
You should be able to figure out where I used which lens.

As always, any and all comments welcome.

Cheers,

Dave

Some nice shots. Since I am not "into" planes, I
noticed the people shots
more.
I especially like the fish eye one of the people on the
hill. But the
man and girl (separate) are nice too. Oh, okay, and the red
plane flying in
from the left too ( #7, I think).

Thanks Marnie.

I'm not what you'd call a people photographer, but it's
something I
enjoy (when I can force myself to overcome my internal
reticence)

I even managed to work myself into that fish eye shot (well,
the top
of my head anyway

Cheers,

Dave
