Hello,
I recently upgraded from ActivePerl 5.8.0 to 5.8.8 (build
820) on Debian
Linux (Etch, v4.0).
Perlapp now gives an error when I try to run it:
Perl lib version (v5.8.8) doesn't match executable version
(v5.8.0) at
/usr/lib/perl5/5.8.8/i686-linux-thread-multi/Config.pm line
46.
Compilation failed in require at perlapp line 661.
BEGIN failed--compilation aborted at perlapp line 661.
I did a web search and found only suggestions to first
uninstall the
previous version of the PDK before re-installing the new
version. In my
case, the PDK version has not changed, and there doesn't
seem to be an
installation directory for PDK version 5.0.2, just two
executables
(/usr/bin/perlapp and /usr/bin/vpm) and a perlapp.pod file.
How can I fix this?
Thanks,
Steve
