packaging large perl applications and their dependancies for debian

Hi bond.pm,

For one of my clients I need to package up several fairly
complex perl
applications, and their dependancies in order to deploy them
via their
local debian/apt repo.

dh-make-perl simply doesn't cut it, and I don't think I can
solve the
problem as easily as I hoped via the cpan deb repo/gateway.

Anybody else come accross and/or solved this problem?

Cheers,

Aaron

I had the same problem ages ago but didn't really solve it
at the time.

I'd find it useful for my own personal projects as well like
Autodia,
my scheduler, and Maypole.

Wow!

That looks like it could do the job.

Save yourself some work, it's already been done:

% dpkg -l libmaypole-perl | grep 2
ii libmaypole-per 2.10-1 Perl framework for
MVC-oriented web applicat

That's a consequence of Memories going into Debian.

Only a year or so behind ;)

Now *that* is quite cool.
