You know, I miss dim sum. I miss it so much that I want to
have dim
sum today. Come have dim sum with me:

  Today, 1pm

It's just an informal gather. We turn up, grab some food,
then
disappear into bond only to meet up a few hours later for
the
social. I'll be the one with the camel.

See you there, Leon

It was good. 7 of us came (2 women, 1 Dave, 5 others) and
spent only £8.10
each, yet had lots of nice things to eat. Thanks to acme for
herding us there.

By my counting at the social there was only 1 Dave. But 3
women.
Clearly bond.pm needs more Daves. Please attend, and claim
your free drink
from our new irrepressible leader.

Either one of the women was a Dave or there is an error in
this
calculation.

I suspect that I can't add up. 2 + 1 + 4 = 7

I blame touch typing - if I can't look at my fingers, how on
earth am I going
to be able to count properly

We had an eighth seat for the table in case any more Daves
appeared.
I don't think we've had a female Dave attend yet. That would
get confusing.

Mdf and I have prodded the box and its all good. Having your
bios
decide it cant see any hard drives makes booting hard. bad
hardware no
cookie and certainly no dim sum.

There was no loss of data. Even if it had all gone wrong the
backups were
safe, secure and verifed to be useful.

It's probably also worth mentioning here that RGL has a blog
(hosted
elsewhere) where we post stuff about (expected or
unexpected) downtime.
