Hi Darren,
Thanks for the help.
I tried what you suggested and did fine loading Perl and
Apache (I
think).
Then I tried to follow the steps to configure Apache and I
think this
is where I am getting messed up.
I wasn't sure what it meant when it says:
"Change the value of DocumentRoot to the actual local
path to your
web site."
I created a new folder named CGI and changed the line to
point to it.
I changed everything else like the directions said. I then
created
the test.cgi file that the directions described. When I
tried to open
it in Internet Explorer it says:
"Forbidden, You don't have permission to access
/test.cgi on this
server."
What am I doing wrong?
Thanks for all your help!
