Recent versions of PPM-Make should recognize a Build.PL in
a distribution and use that to build things, which should
result in the same type of ppd file that a Makefile.PL would
generate. Is that not working for a particular distribution?

I'm testing it out for a new Bioperl release for WinXP and
PPM4.  I couldn't
find anything in the docs about whether it uses Build.PL.  

I'll give it a go and see what happens.  Thanks!
