Hi all,
I have a dilemma. I am a new tech, but I've been around the block a few times in healthcare and in other industries so I'm not totally
inexperienced. I am going back to school starting in the summer session to begin re-doing my pre-reqs to apply for pharm school. THAT is my primary objective but I have a mortgage to pay in the meantime so I'm working retail to help out my hubby with the bills. I knew going in that I wasn't really going to enjoy retail pharmacy as a technician (don't think I'd be too keen on it as pharmacist either) but I don't know of other tech jobs that would be flexible enough schedule-wise to accommodate my changing school schedule and part-time hours requirement. Any ideas?? I'm really not happy in retail
and it's becoming a major irritant in my life. I LOVE home infusion and am good at it; I also think I'd enjoy hospital too although I have no hospital experience. Any suggestions would be very welcome.
