Hi Everyone,
Sometimes I get asked about what organizations to belong to and I
usually indicate the one that you feel comfortable with. There are
many Pharmacist organizations out there that will gladly take your
membership dues, but may not be a comfortable fit for you as a
Pharmacy Technician. Although there are GREAT Pharmacist
organizations to belong to as well!
Currently there are 2 national Pharmacy Technician organization of
which again is up to you if they meet your individual needs. Below
please find the websites for both of these organizations.
We are all individuals and we all have different outlooks of what will
fit our needs as far as a national/state/local organization to belong
to. If you find one organization does not meet your needs, then find
another and another until you find one that works for you. Realize,
being a part of the right organization will give you a home to belong,
information concerning your vocation and the potential to network with
fellow Pharmacy Technicians.
