Dear all,

Photos unedited are the best, but in case if there can be a
peice of
editing that helps the photo convey the message better/make
it look
good, it is okie.

So what all tools are used and whats your choice..?

I prefer iPhoto than anything else..

Regards,
Satish

Yeah, I would agree that the concept of a totally unedited
image seems
kind of rare except maybe in the family photo album. I could
be wrong
but I suspect that most photographers use some sort of tool
to bring
out the best in their work. Darkroom for film buffs, any
number of
editing software tools for digital. I doubt there is any
"best"
software because it all depends on what you want to
accomplish. Some
are quite happy with the software that came with their
camera, others
reach for the stars with Photoshop CS. In the end it is not
the
software that matters but the final product.

Well said Bob,

So it all boils down to what one wants to do.

    1. Basic touch up
    2. Advanced editing

I'm not sure if it is the *best* application, but I use
Photoshop
Elements. I only need a very basic editing package and
Elements does
everything I need it to, plus I can actually afford it.
