Yes, it's a lot smoother than CS2 Bridge in my opinion.
I guess it depends on your work flow route.
When I download my card, I dump right into a dated folder in
my windows
explorer window. So it would look like:
C:\2006decemberdec05
Then from the "Library" function in Lightroom you
can import from where ever
on your HD and name it as whatever you like, and it creates
a library for
you. I'm rather enjoying this feature. I tend to struggle a
little with
keeping my shots organized.
I think I've devised a good system to start 2007 with though
...
