Does anyone know where I can find the PS CS Camera Raw plug-in to open
raw files from the Canon EOS 350D (Rebel XT)?
I've scoured Adobe's site and come up with nothing other than support
for CS2, which I don't have.
Thanks in advance for any help

I am about to head to bed, so here is just a quick reply. If no one else responds to this, I'll look into it more tomorrow.
But I THINK that there is no plug-in to open files from the 350D for CS. I couldn';t find one either. What I did find were forum entries and such in which people saying that the only thing you can do is to convert your files to DNG using the Adobe DNG converter, and then when you go to open them in Photoshop CS they will open in the RAW editor. This is what I have been doing for RAW files from this camera.
Here's a place to start: http://www.adobe.com/products/dng/index.html
It might even lead you directly to the link, but I am not sure because I just glanced at the page now. If my memory is correct, all you need is the stand alone DNG converter and nothing else. You run it completely separately from Photoshop.
Okay, I'll check back tomorrow and see if you've gotten anything more helpful from someone else. Otherwise, I'll dig around more tomorrow to find out exactly what I downloaded.

Okay, looking back, I see that I downloaded version 3.4 back in April. But it looks like there have been updates to he DNG converted since then (they're up to 3.6).
I39;m pretty sure that what you need to do is download "Adobe Camera Raw and DNG Converter" and then put the Adobe DNG Converter somewhere accessible (mine is on my desktop). However, I think that you should NOT install the Camera Raw
3.6 update, since they specifically say that it's not compatible with Photoshop CS.
Here's the download page for Adobe DNG Converter and Camera Raw 3.6 update for Windows.
http://www.adobe.com/support/downloads/detail.jsp?ftpID=3548
I can't get the Mac page to open, but here's the link they give:
http://www.adobe.com/support/downloads/product.jsp?product=106&platform=Macintosh
And here's the front page about DNG, which is where I got the links for the DNG converter download:
http://www.adobe.com/products/dng/index.html
My workflow is:
1. Shoot in RAW. 2. Upload files to my computer. 3. Run the DNG converter on those files (I don't overwrite the CR2 files, but you can).
4. Open PS CS and navigate to the DNG files. 5. Double click on a DNG file and it opens in Camera RAW.
Hope that helps! Good luck!
