The old topic is somehow closed so I would like to give you
a short
backup....

Onexposure.net has changed their rules for the membership in
a way
which I find fair in the end and which I want to let you
know after
the emotional discussion in the other thread and a much more
calm
discusion with Jacob from OE.

"If you wish to end your membership you must do the
following:

1) Contact us and tell us why we failed to meet your
expectations.
Your power to influence how we run the site is big.
2) If you want to go on with ending your membership, go to
"My
account" (link) and click "End membership".
3) Read the text carefully. It will give you two choices,
either to
leave and keep photos with a possibility to return anytime
or to
permanently delete account and all photos without any
possibility to
come back. The second alternative will require 3 months of
absence
from Onexposure to complete. If you login during these three
months
the account will be activated again and the process is
aborted. This
is to ensure that all work by screeners and other members is
not
wasted in temporary frustration or without careful
reconsideration."

Finally after these massive changes I decided to give the
site another
try....and no....they did not pay me for this but there are
tones of
wonderful photographs and a lot of photographers to learn
from.

Greetings

Jens

Hi Jens

Hey thanks for the info and steps.
I will be looking to delete my account as soon as a

presents itself.
