too much processing? (getting back in to IR .. )

After a year or so of idleness, I finally dove back in to
both
shooting, and posting recently, moving my site over to a
photoblog.
Anyway, just converted my old D100 to IR, and getting used
to shooting
with it. I *really* like this shot, but I'm starting to
think I may
have over processed it a bit .. not sure. Thoughts?

Most of everything else I do is just a mild crop &
levels job, but the
IR usually requires some "work" unless you go
B&W .. and I'm out of
practice.

Thanks,

- Cass

I too don't think that you have over-processed your photo.
The last
time I tried to over-process, it was my most popular
posting. I guess
it just depends on if you want the photo to be like real
life, or
catch the mood at the time.

Hi there

I think the processing got the point through in a good way.
For the
object I personally think it is a little too much towards
purple, I
think it would have been interesting with a twist towards
dark green-
blue.
I really like the position of the ship and the wave.
