design and layout of this

i have been changing themes, redoing the site, and am not
sure if this
current layout is fine.  i am new to photo blogging so not
sure what
works.
i have thousands of new photos i want to start adding but
want to find
a layout that works so i can concentrate more on shooting
than editing
the site.

hmm ... for me the search funtion works well; the site is
also
diplayed correct in Firefox (in IE7 ... who cares ;) )

But I like the overall layout except the placement of the
date and the
"add a comment" button ...
