Thanks for the comments Mark. The suggestion to not post so
many
similar shots together is a good one. I had been pushing
myself to
post a new photo every day. I haven't met that goal, but
when I get
out to shoot and have several good ones, I want to show them
off. I
think I'm going to back off of that though.
As far as the comments, I understand it's a social function.
I guess I
just expected more with the amount of traffic I get. The
other thing
that concernd me, that I failed to mention, is that on sites
like
photoblogs.org, my site doesn't get bookmarked/tagged. Is
this also a
purely social thing? I would expect that with 26,000
photoblogs
listed, there might be a few who find my work interesting
enough to
bookmark and tag, but right now only five other people (I'm
the sixth)
have tagged/bookmarked my site, and it's been listed for
almost two
years. If it's just a popularity contest, then I can live
with that,
but if it says something about my photography, I'd love to
learn what
it is to see if it's worth pursuing.
