Hi,

I have planet running fine and dandy, except with one of the
feed's
images not showing up in planet. They are displayed at the
blog
perfectly fine.

The only difference in this feed is that the server
Apache-Coyote/1.1
serves the images(JPEG) as:
Content-Type: application/octet-stream;charset=UTF-8
Transfer-Encoding: chunked

Whereas images(JPEG) from "regular" web pages are
served usually as:
Content-Type: image/jpeg

Would this difference confuse planetplanet? The content type
does make
Firefox ask me which application I want to use to view the
file, when I
do "Right Click > View Image". Firefox should
have shown the image
itself if it was the regular content type.

What else should I be checking to solve the problem.

Thanks,
/KS

It's more likely that the site is not serving the image if
it looks like
it's being loaded from a site other than the blog itself -
the browser
will supply the page containing the image as the referrer
and some sites
check that.

The blog in question is: http://su
siemonday.squarespace.com/journal/
and the image:
http://susiemonday.squarespace.com/storage/Bord
erland%20Cacti.JPG or you
can just right click any of the images posted on the blog
and try "View
Image". Looks like that they are being served from the
same server.

Looks like they are doing referrer checking - if you create
a little web
page containing an <img> referencing that you'll see
that the image
won't load if you try to view it on a web page hosted
elsewhere.
