planet and page rank

Hi all,

I had setup planet for a friend at http://planet.textil
ethreads.com The
feeds are invitation only. My friend asked for permission
from a fellow
artist to feature her feed on planet. While she is OK with
planet
aggregating the feed the only concern she has is her Google
Page Rank.
She was asking if duplicating the content of her blog on
planet could in
any way reduce her page rank.

AFAIK Google determines Page Rank largely on the content and
number of
links point to the page. So from that I guess the only
change would be
an increase in page rank. What do others think about it? Is
there any
other factor which determines PR?

I think its unlikely to be detrimental, since you can
publicise your
Google Reader reading list these days producing something
not
dissimilar to a planet.
