Try the following:

1) check if the template is there:
http://yo
ursite/atct_topic_view/manage_main

2) If it isn't, try:

   - Look in portal_skins to see if there is a folder called
ATContentTypes
in the main content listing

   - Click the Properties tab and make sure there is a line
that contains
ATContentTypes in the Plone Default skin

If none of these help, try creating a new (parallel) Plone
instance and
see if it works there.

I have upgraded many 2.5 sites to 2.5.1, and haven't seen
this problem.

Hi Alexander,

Thanks for your reply. When I try:
http://localhost:8080/parttimepunks/atct_topic_vi
ew/manage_main I get
the ZMI view of the template without a problem. So the
template is
there, but something is preventing plone from finding it
when I go to
a URL of an instance of a smart folder. Is it possible I'm
doing
something wrong with file permissions, or with the custom
Product I
wrote?

I'd eliminate the custom product first, and then see if
normal smart
folders work.

Hi Alexander,

I tried to create a fresh Plone Site under the same Zope
instance and
got an AttributeError: previous. It looks like my problem
was an
outdated version of Five. I had 1.3.6, and 2.5.1 needs
1.3.7. As soon
as I updated Five the error went away.

Thanks again for your help.
