Plone upgrade problem

Hi everyone:

I upgraded our Plone (Windows 2003) site to 2.5.1 due to
problems with
redirects that were using the plone_memberdata script to
place files
on our site. The old site was installed early last year so
was 2.0x
did not not the exact version.

The problem is that, it was not upgrade glacefully.  When I
copy the
old database into the new Plone/Data/Var folder, it gives an
error
"AttributeError" when I try to open the site.

No further info is provided on the specific attribute that
is the
source of error.

How do I migrate my content from the old site to the new
one?

There was very little customisation - only the site title
and logo had
been changed.

First you need to go to the ZMI and go to portal_migration.
You can't 
access the Plone site until you have done that.

(that document is for 2.1 but migrating in 2.5 is not much
different as 
long as you users are in Plone not in LDAP)
