Plone 2.51 and ZmysqlDA

I am unable to get the ZmysqlDA to appear on the dropdown
menu.  I utilized
Plone 2.51 installer on Windows 2000 pro.  Had to update
Python to 2.44 so
python-mysql would install.  Everything works in Plone but
still no drop
down selection for database adapter.  I believe python-mysql
and ZmysqlDA
are in the proper directories.  Any one having better luck.
