local roles changed after migrating to Plone 2.5.2

Hi all
I migrated a number of sites from Plone 2.1.4 to Plone 2.5.2
- Zope 
2.8.8-final.
Many of these sites had contents with a local role of
manager assigned to a 
group "group_name".
After migrating, the local role fo manager as assigned to
the user 
"group_groupname" instead.
Of course this gives me much trouble. Did this happen to
anybody else, ho 
can I solve it, is there a script I could run to get the
localroles assigned 
properly? (or hints to code it?)
