plone 3.0 mail setup

I'm using Plone 3 Beta 3. After setting my SMTP server to
localhost and my
SMTP port to 25 in both Zope and Plone, I consistently get
an error message
(Error Please correct the indicated errors.) when attempting
to send email
via the contact form. Is mail not yet working in Plone 3, or
am I missing
something? TIA.

This looks like a form validation error. What did you type
in the form 
and what are the indicated errors? Did you also configure a
valid "Site 
'From' name" and "Site 'From' address" on the
"Mail sender" view (tab?) 
of Mail settings?

Ahh, I see now. I had to complete my Personal Preferences
form, my email
address in particular, since it's the same address I'm using
in the Site
'From' address in Mail Settings.
