login problem after upgrade

I didn't think this was the case in 2.1.2, but I might be
wrong - it's  
certainly not that way in the upcopming 2.1.3, but I know it
worked that  
way in 2.1.0 and 2.1.1.

Just in case: you are sure you haven't customized any of
the pages related  
to logins? That part of the system was pretty much
completely rewritten.
