AttributeError: translation_mutator

Hello all,

I'm having problems with LinguaPlone. It's working fine
for me with all 
other content types but SimplePortlet-1.1.1 gave me this
error:

File
"/xxx/xxx/xxx/xxx/xxx/Products/LinguaPlone/I18NBaseObj
ect.py", line 
121, in addTranslation
     translation_mutator = getattr(o,
field.translation_mutator)
AttributeError: translation_mutator

This is documented as a bug already in LinguaPlone's Issue
Tracker. I 
was still wondering: 1) any idea, what is causing the error
2) when this 
would be fixed 3) could there be a quick-and-dirty fix for
this that I 
could do myself?

I'm trying to make a decission on whether to be able to use
the 
excellent SimplePortlet product on my site and I'm in a bit
of a hurry 
with this decission
