Hi there,
today I spent a few hours on updating the translation files
for Plone
3.0. While not nearly finished the result of today is the
following:
- Archetypes domain updated - 19 new messages, some changes
- ATContentTypes domain updated - 24 new messages, some
changes, about
40 messages copied from the plone domain (including there
translations
if available)
- Plone domain updated - 40 new messages, lots of changes
So you have another 80 messages waiting on translation now
and lots of
messages to review.
Currently none of the messages from any of the new Python
packages are
included as I need to update the i18ndude software used for
extracting
all the messages for that. I will do that on the next
weekend and you
will get lots of more new messages then...
Some random remarks about changes in Plone 3.0:
- 'Keywords' have been renamed to 'Categories'
- 'Smart folders' have been renamed to 'Collections'
You will still find all terms in the translation files, as
the same
files are used for Plone 2.5 and Plone 3.0 and we don't
change such
crucial names in a minor release for Plone 2.5. All messages
using these
names should therefor exist twice.
