| Kupu German and i18ndude problems again |
  Germany |

Hi
I just committed some German translations for Kupu that were
missing. If
anyone could take a look at these to check wether I got it
all right, that
would be great. In particular, I am not sure what the
"fix tables" feature
actually does.
I also tried to rebuild kupu.pot, which failed because
i18ndude choked on
xmlns attributes in Kupu's templates:
> TALError: bad TAL attribute: 'xmlns:html', at line 2,
column 1,
> in file
../kupu/plone/kupu_plone_layer/kupu_kjax_support.xml.pt
Does anyone know how to fix this?

As far as I know the kupu pot files aren't build with
i18ndude. Maybe
Duncan can shed some light on this?

Fix tables: removes border, cellpadding and cellspacing
attributes from the
table, makes sure the class is one of the available table
classes, make
sure all table rows are inside one of thead/tbody/tfoot (and
moves any row
which contains only TH tags from the tbody to the thead,
removes colSpan
and rowSpan attributes, makes all rows the same length,
strips div/p tags
from cell contents, and generally messes up anything it
can.
With the help of Google translate, I suggest a suitable
German translation
for "fix tables" might be: Wenn du dieses
betätigst, bist du tapferer als
ich.

Assuming that the user is following that rationale when
dealing with UIs of
any kind anyway, I think my translation
"reparieren" (repair) is OK

Another case where translation shows that the original term
should be
clearer. How about "Repair table" (as in German)
or "Clean up table"? With
a title="" attribute that describes what it does,
so you get a tooltip?
