and you will see a) why Plone and b) all the discussion and
work we have
done before deciding that (reading some posts here it looks
like we had
a chat in a bar and we came up with a brilliant solution
after some beers).
No-Plone is not software we can use, if you want to help
look at the
www.gnome.org requirements and propose a specific solution
that would
work better than Plone (and the rest of candidates, already
triaged).
Only free software alternatives would be considered, GNOME
is all about
free software. And again, we would only consider
alternatives if the
Plone implementation fails.
Just for the record, we haven't still a single reason to
think that it
will fail.
