2.5 -> 2.5.2-1 upgrade problems

Hi

    I have been attempting what I thought would be a
painless minor 
upgrade from plone 2.5 to the latest 2.5.2-1, but something
has gone 
very wrong

    Present configuration is Zope 2.8.7-final, Python 2.3.5,
Plone 2.5.0

    I am trying to go to Zope 2.9.6, Python 2.4.4 and Plone
2.5.2-1

    I follow the following steps
        1) Install python 2.4.4 and Zope 2.9.6 as usual
        2) Create a new plone 2.5.2-1 instance
        2) Stop the old plone instance and copy the Data.fs
into the new 
instance var doirectory
        4) Install Plone 2.5.2-1 in the new instabes
Products directory
        5) restart the new instance

    When I goto the ZMI management interface it says my
plone instance 
is broken, it does not show up in the left column and  the
icon in the 
main window pane is broken

   

This object is broken because the *CMFPlone* product that
created it is 
no longer installed or is installed incorrectly. Please
contact the 
product maintainer for assistance.

Note that the data associated with this product has not been
lost, and 
will be accessible again if the product is reinstalled.

Start Zope using "zopectl fg" and trible check for
error messages on the 
console.

Have you installed PIL, PythonElementTree and the libreries
not included in the Plone tarball (see install.txt in
CMFPLone)?
