Thread: Adding Keywords to Folder

Adding Keywords to Folder
country flaguser name
Austria

Hi,

since some time i think about how I maybe could add keywords
to folders. The reason why i want to do this is, because
mostly i arrange content with different keywords in one
folder. But those content items should not have a specific
keyword because the related items box would get to large.
Instead I want to have the parent folder as related item.

I am using Plone 2.0.5
The site name is: herbert-groenemeyer.de (some hints and
tips are very welcome)!

thanks!

regards, tom

Every AT-based content-type supports keywords - including
folders.

Wouldn't a smart folder be a better choice here?

good point. well, i don't think so, because i need the
content items only in this folder. i see a folder as a cd
and the content is than the cover art and the songs (lyrics)
as one document per song, sometimes there is an additional
document for CD details.

if there is a better solution than doing it that way, please
let me know. here you can see a sample presentation of it:
