For some reason the screen size of the viewer on my palm has
reduced
and the virtual keyboard now cannot be collapsed down as
before so I
am not able to use the full length of the screen to read the
viewer.
does anyone have any idea how to get the full screen view
back? i am
using the latest hi res viewer.

Could be that your didgitiser has gone out of alignment. your TX may not be registering that you are tapping on the expand screen button. Try recalibrating your didgitiser in System > Prefs.

Do you have the proper Palm .prc files that are required for
full-screen
access on your hardware? They should be called
AppSlipRotate.prc and
StatusBarLib.prc.

Are you sure you're running v1.8 of the Plucker viewer?

And please don't use HTML in email. Keep the HTML on port 80
please, not
port 25. Thanks.

Those are only required for a Palm Tungsten 3. The TX
should not need them.

Apparently, it used to work, then stopped. I've seen
behavior like
this with other apps on my Tapwave Zodiac 2, and it cleared
up after a
soft reset.
