All,
Have the viewer snapshot builds stopped? The builds on the
site say
2008-01-29.
An updated converter/creator would be great.
Frank.

The last commits that Alexander Pruss made on 1/30 broke the
snapshot
builds:
http://snapshots.
plkr.org/build.log
Until he fixes those, the builds won't proceed.

All,
Sorry to hear that the snapshot builds are broken.
Not to interfere with someone else's project or problem, but
is there
anything that I can help with?
Frank.

Yeah. I pulled down the latest and it wouldn't compile for
me. Same errors as
the build.log. Upgrading from PalmSDK-5r3 to PalmSDK-5-4
fixed the problem.
DmSync and DmSyncDatabase appeared in 5r4.

Where does 5r4 come from? I can't find it _anywhere_..
ACCESS only has
the 5.3 Garnet SDK (which current snapshots are built with,
but it
lacks DmSync and DmSyncDatabase).
PDN has the 5.6 SDK, but it is structured completely
different, and
would require moving a lot of files and directories around
to make it
work in a clean, portable way with prc-tools.
I googled around for a bit and could not turn up a download
for 5r4
from anywhere. Got a URL or official site for downloading
it? I have
logins for all of the PDN/Palm/ACCESS/Palmsource/etc. dev
resources.

I found a copy inside
Palm_OS_Developer_Suite_1_2_Installer.exe of all
places... but the sdk-5r4 in there is *HORRIBLY* broken...
It looks like they shipped somehting that wasn't even
complete; there
are required headers missing, incorrect comment structures
and all
manner of other things wrong with it. I'll try
hand-correcting as much
as I can, but there are thousands of corrections that need
to be made.

Chris, thanks for the information. It got me up and running
in no time
(after being away from Plucker for a very long time
Now, I just have to check what has happened to the code
while I've been
away...
Cheers,
/Mike

Looks like they broke that too... sigh. After logging in and
clicking on
the appropriate download, I get:
Referral Denied
You don't have permission to access

ACCESS fixed the broken link to the SDK, and now hourly
snapshots are
working again.
Let me know if anything with them behaves weird or lacks
support for
any device/feature, and I'll try to fix it.
