Java on FreeBSD 6.x - reserving too much memory.

Hi

I administrate a couple of -STABLE servers running Java
applications and
i notice they reserve somewhere between 500 megs and 800
megs of memory,
even for the simplest of applications. Is this something to
worry about
when i now need to increase the number of Java applications
running
simultaneously? Are there any ways to reduce this to some
sane levels?

You could try playing with -Xms and -Xmx.
