diablo-jre/jdk core dumps on 7.0

This is a new installed 7.0, and tried to install diablo-jre
and diablo-jdk.

This what I got:

java -version : works
java helloworld : works
applets (from konqueror) : core dump
gui program (openproj) : core dump 

* The helloworld is a simple println() program


Also found some -XX:+UseMembar option in the lists (similar
problem), but it 
makes no difference, it still coredumps.


Any help would be appretiated
