port: make_installer.pl unable to package OpenOffice_SDK with epm

I am building 2.0.2 with a recent port on FreeBSD 6.0-STABLE
from
January 25. New port tree, perl and friends updated to
5.8.8.

Building completes, packaging process fails.
Looks like it has some trouble linking some documentation
file

How to debug this problem? Maybe the whole path is too long?

Can I ask make_installer.pl not to remove files on failure?
