Sep 21 18:47:00 mail postfix/master[8201]: daemon started --
version 2.3.3,
configuration /etc/postfix
Sep 21 18:49:08 mail postfix/smtpd[8229]: fatal: unsupported
dictionary type:
inet
Sep 21 18:49:09 mail postfix/master[8201]: warning:

Sep 21 18:49:09 mail postfix/master[8201]:
warning: /usr/libexec/postfix/smtpd: bad command startup --
throttling

i am trying to install postgrey on a old fedora6, postfix is
not too old
(2.3.3 is fine and dictionary type: inet is supported by
2.2); i have tried
in all the solution but is seems there no way to have
postgrey working

here my conf:
  smtpd_recipient_restrictions =
reject_multi_recipient_bounce,
    permit_mynetworks,
reject_unauth_destination,reject_non_fqdn_recipient,
check_helo_access pcre:/etc/postfix/helo_checks,
   check_policy_service inet:127.0.0.1:60000

../sysconfig/postgrey
 OPTIONS="--inet=127.0.0.1:60000"

postgrey is running in port 60000, but there is no use in it
as postfix smtpd
does not start

any help will be apreciated

It is not a dictionary....

Check "/etc/postfix/master.cf" for corrupt lines
beginning "inet" maybe.

Suggest posting "master.cf", "postconf
-m" and "postconf -n" output.

Of course it may be that the world has moved on and I
haven't caught up, as
I'm not on 2.3 yet.

postconf -n | grep "inet"

I suspect you have typoed it somewhere else?

my fault :(
smtpd_recipient_restrictions not starting at col 0 and so
continuing previous
declaration
10x for replies, postconf | grep inet has discovered it
