I know this one have been out a while and I have searched
and asked a
few months ago about this issue. I have built out a new
Ubuntu box
using Gutsy server. It is a postfix, mailscanner, clamav,
spamassassin,
postgrey setup. I am getting the following error message
and I am now
confused.
Starting postfix greylisting daemon: postgreyUse of
uninitialized value
in split at /usr/lib/perl5/Sys/Syslog.pm line 123.
Postgrey looks like it is running according to a ps aux |
grep postgrey.
~ I have not pushed this fresh build into service but that
is happening
on Monday afternoon. I can disable postgrey but would
rather not. Has
anyone found anything new on this issue? Is it still
believed that
Syslog is the problem? Is this really keeping postgrey from
working?
Since a ps shows it running, is it able to recover from this
error message?
TIA
Guy
