Hi,
I'm a bit confused about this scenario!
A user calls me and complains that a particular person
emails him but he never receives the mails..
So I look at the log file and I see this:
Mar 9 12:19:44 incc postfix/smtpd[1395]: NOQUEUE: reject:
RCPT from blu139-omc1-s16.blu139.hotmail.com[65.55.175.156]:

Mar 9 12:20:44 incc postfix/smtpd[1395]: NOQUEUE: reject:

client=blu139-omc1-s16.blu139.hotmail.com, from=abz2plz msn.com,
to=user domain.com
Then,
mail.info.0:Mar 9 12:26:08 incc postfix/pickup[1243]:
D36DA404EF: uid=1000 from=<abz2plz msn.com>
mail.log:Mar 11 14:53:53 incc postfix/pickup[19818]:

mail.log:Mar 11 14:58:52 incc postfix/pickup[19818]:
66069404FB: uid=1000 from=<abz2plz msn.com>
No more greylisting ?
I see no whitelist message ..
I'm just curious as to why all of a sudden it worked. Is
that because the msn.com servers are not working correctly
or is there something I'm not grasping about how it works.
Thanks in advance,

Jerry,
Greylisting only blocks the sender/receiver/server triplet
the first
time, thereafter it is allowed immediately without delay.

To clarify...the sender/receiver/server triplet is
greylisted/blocked for
a period of time, at first. I believe the default time is 5
or 6 minutes.
After that period of time, if the sending server retries,
the messages
will be allowed in.

Is it somehow possible to tweak the greylisting such that it
will only
use the tuple of sender/server? This way the sending person
will not
have to be whitelisted for email sent to a given server.
