My client, a top financial firm, located in NYC,
currently has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Linux
Systems Administrator. This is a unique opportunity to work
as part of a world-class team building, enhancing,and
maintining enterprise systems. Responsibilities include
provisioning, installing and upgrading servers, systems
policy management, technical assistance on
infrastructure-related projects, implementing best practices
and performing third party quality control.
* Required Skills:
Candidates must have 8+ years of experience with solid
knowledge of Linux/ UNIX, along with strong
programming/scripting skills, strong analytical skills in
resolving OS related issues, and ability to interact with
development and business groups. Exposure to Solaris and
familiarity with SAN, EMC and hardware a major plus. The
successful candidate must demonstrate excellent technical,
organizational & communication skills, and the ability
to work well in a team.
A BS degree in CS or a related field is required
