# Description: IAG Research is looking for a junior Unix
Systems and Network administrator to build, monitor and
maintain the operation of its external facing Internet
services. The successful candidate will be a technical
person who is as skilled in programing as he or she is in
building out systems or configuring routers. The person will
report to and collaborate with the senior administrator on
projects such as building out new web, application, and
database servers, and the authoring of software for
monitoring the quality of services being delivered.

# Required Skills:

Required Skills and Experience
-1 year prior experience with Redhat, Fedora or other Linux
distribution in a server environment
-Bachelor degree in computer science or related field
-demonstrable experience with at least 2 of bash, Perl, php,
java (code samples or programming test may be required)
-a demonstrable understating of 3 tier, redundant internet
architecture
-a working knowledge of RAID and other storage technologies
Desirable Skills and Experience
-Checkpoint or Netscreen Firewalls
-Cisco routers and Switches
-Alteon Load balancers
-Solaris
-cfengine
-kickstart
-oracle, mysql and the use of SQL
-windows server, active directory, LDAP or Kerberos
-windows and Linux/Unix interoperability
