Quiet list lately. What are you all up to, Psi-wise or
otherwise?

Updated the PyIRCt and PyYIMy pages
(http://xmpppy.sour
ceforge.net/irc/ and
http://xmpppy.so
urceforge.net/yahoo/), they now look like the PyAIMt
and PyICQt pages. Daniel and I have both added navbars at
the top of
our pages inter-linking the sites.

Also done some actually work on the transports (in CVS),
yahoo
transport is closer to getting adhoc commands, irc transport
supports
multiple resources logged in at once, and presence of irc
contacts
(via watch, neither freenode nor oftc support it), also
client
presence is sent as irc away.

Very little work on GB-PVR - I've managed to get some
others to pick
up 2 of my 3 components, which means more time for jabber
related
stuff

I keep meaning to sit down and work on the tab-completion
stuff in
Psi. (I've been using #debian on freenode a bit lately,
and the tab
key is tooooo slow in Psi). Qt4 should have some methods to
speed up
the tab completion operation.

Still no nightly builds back yet, no good excuse. I've
installed Qt
4.1.2 (and the updated vs.net addons) which fixed the build
issues,
which means nightly builds can resume without further delay,
when I
actually do it. (/me looking for round-tuits, please send
any
spares!)

Google Sketchup is awesome. I'm using it to help redesign
my kitchen!

I have no problems with Psi, my old lovely customised 0.9.3
is working
fine. Waiting
for the release with a GPLed Qt and the new roster code
to revive my patching works.

Meanwhile I'm working on UNB 1.6.2 and towards a quicker
1.7.

And look at my brand-new web laboratory! ;)

Oh yes, I still have that patch against Class.Jabber.PHP to
make it work
with PHP5 which JRU-PHP could benefit from.

Fighting fires man, fighting fires... Work has been nuts
the last
week or so.

Anyway, with the tiny amount of spare time I've had lately
I've been:

- Migrating the Jabber Script Repository over to it's new
home at
http://scriptrep
o.blathersource.org/
- Working on a brand new interface for the scriptrepo
- Investigating a few issues with PyICQ and PyAIM, thinking
about a
release of both
- Pondering on some work I might do with JWGC
- Coming up with JEPs that other folk show me are useless

hahahahahahah sigh

I added a cute little todo list to my blog. ;D And on a
related
note, YAY Yves and new UNB releases! =)

I've been trying to keep up with the variety of Psi updates
here and
there. Pretty cool. I might just be blind but I didn't
see how to
enable libjingle support in the latest stuff. I bet it's
blatantly
obvious too.

Daniel

LOL That one wasn't useless =P That one I actually do
need to
write. I was actually unsure as to whether the Wildfire
team had
already written a JEP for what I was doing at one point, but
it looks
like ... no. =)

Done. Check
the known news sites.

Oh, for those who don't follow the jdev list: There seems
to be an
improved version of Class.Jabber.PHP. I just talked to
Fritzy about it.
I think I'm going to check that one out, maybe it's a good
replacement
for the current PHP class. Could use it in JRU-PHP and
UNB...

Hummm, time to dig up my old PubSub patches for
class.jabber.php and PEP
them up a little bit.
