gzip Patch

Hi!

I posted patch 1675951 a while ago that fixes a performance
problem for 
small reads in the gzip stdlib module. It also removes the
necessity for 
seeking while reading gzip files (allows reading from stdin
now).

Is there anything I can/have to do to get the patch in?

If you want to prioritize processing over other patches,
please review
5 other patches, then post the list  of those patches to
python-dev,
and I will give your patch priority.
