I'm surprised windows.h doesn't come with Express Edition
- but I'm fairly
sure it comes with the "platform sdk" - which is
necessary for many of the
modules anyway.
afxwin.h is an MFC header, and IIUC, that is not available
without the
full-blown MSVC. This will prevent you building
pythonwin/win32ui - but
should not prevent the COM and win32 packages building...
