serach and replace

Can we change it to a multi-line edit box for search and
replace. I
have a bunch of static html files I'd like to replace a
block of text
with a new block of text.

Use KFileReplace, I think that should handle this.

For editor: ask the Kate developers. But KFileReplace can be
used from 
inside Quanta...
