Not Starting Up

I got Quanta to install. I have the icon on the new
applications
menu.When I click on the icon it runs for awhile but never
starts. I am
getting "Segmentation Error". Has anyone else had
and solved this 
problem.

It can have several reasons. Try to start quanta in a
terminal (eg. 
konsole) and give the output.
