MySQL throws a "MySQL has gone away" exception
when a timeout is reached. I asked myself if it is possible
and efficient to use another technique for handle database
connections. For example, in each query, open a connection,
execute query and close connection. I wrote others web
application using Java and database's pools. BEA Weblogic
Servers uses classes for handle database connections pools
but I don't want to use a pool in Python.
Any idea?

Arturo
