A sore subject...

Honestly? From my pov, ego/personality conflicts mostly.
:(

Obviously Jeff isn't in this to win a popularity contest,
but imo, his
experience/prowess should speak for itself, granting a fair
amount of
latitude for sassy-ness.

+1 (that's a perception anyway). I too (with Matthias)
would like Jeff
to participate as well. fwiw, when rpm.org/upstream all
went down, I
expressed the opinion that Jeff *should* be asked to
participate, since
it is/would-be unfortunate to have the one person on the
planet with the
most rpm-mojo not involved.

Don't forget I was fired. No company is ever going to trust
the output of a fired employee, OSS be damned. Forking
was perfectly predictable and understandable to me, the
only
issue (from my POV) that was surprising is the length
of time it took to make the bleeping decision. I also hjave
serious issues with smearing my reputation in public.

I don't want to deal with the firing issue any more than RH
does.

And my overall outlook and well being (as well as my
sassiness) are
vastly improved now that I don't have to wear an NDA muzzle
imposed
by the corporate cloutacracy. Thank you!
