Red5 Digest, Vol 10, Issue 57

Hi everyone.

thank m.j.milicevic for your kind reply.

 

I have Red5's latest build. WinXP SP2, IIS6, Java runtime environment 1.5.

 

I followed the video tutorials at flashextension.com and they seemed pretty straight forward, so the test apps are running now. Is there any online tutorials to get me started with audio/video straeming with Red5???

Hi Guys! I m not new on this list, here from its early days, but couldnt
check the digest emails because of some heavy load of work.

Well, i m now free so i thought i should try Red5 in these vacations. But
unfortunately, i dont know nothing about Java or app developments in java
environment as i am a typical Windows based developer, so can some one guide
me, to a tutorial or something else that can get a non-java person like me
started. I have good concept of using Flash communication server and Media
Server, so that not a problem for me to learn the architecture, but Java is.
So please help me guys.

Hi Syed,
red5 is pretty much easy to install and get running,
(check red5 site, there is also video tutorial about installing/uninstalling).
